There's a tractor on EBAY advertised as a 56 LA,and I was wondering what was the last year for them? This is the first time I saw an LA in that late of model. Good looking tractor,BTW...

The tractor is somewhat close enough for me to be interested in. I emailed the seller to ask for more pictures as he has only a photo of the right side. From his response....I'm not getting any pics.

I emailed him and told him how to figure out the year. He also sent me the pictures. Looks like an older restoration to me.

Ya Tim I don't get it. How hard is it to take a couple of pics and post'em? It looks good in the one pic but I need to see more. I think is opening bid's a little high too.

not sure what was the last year but the later ones were painted orange and cream so if this is indeed a later one then it is painted wrong. Sure is a nice lookin tractor though

Desert sand was never used on the LA. Even the 500 which replaced the LA was painted Flambeau red. The 600 which replaced the 500 was painted desert sand and flambeau red.

I'm Guessing 1952. The tag probably starts with the numbers 56.
