I am looking at a 990DB selectomatic/loader with manual steering that steers very hard. Need opinions if these tractors are good in northern climate (one friend said if I walk past it w/snowcone it won't start), and any help locating power steering setup for this. Any good websites???
HELP!!!!!

we have 990 that we have been using for 15 years, have had no problems yet, great on fuel and i never plug it in till it is lower than 15 degres or less, starts very well in cold weather.

It"s guys like your friend who help make these wonderful tractors some of the most affordable out there. Any tractor with a loader and no PS is a bear to drive. Most of them had hydrostatic stearing and should be easy to find in a salvage yard. If the thermostart works and you have a good battery, they should start pretty well. James
