New foam to seal the radiator to hood and side panels on my 4490? The cost thru the case dealer is beyond frightening. I would prefer closed cell foam as it does not fill with dust which turns to mud when wet. TIA Tom

The Norton Abrasives Co. and 3M Co. manufacture and market Closed Cell poly-vinyl-cloride foam tape. It's sold in various widths, thickness and densities. Also comes with adhesive on one or both sides. Most any good automotive paint supply store will stock some common variances. For rad sealing purposes you may need to order greater thickness than they stock, or you may laminate several layers to make whatever you need. Don't use Poly-urethane Foam Tape, most of it quickly rots when in a compressed state at higher temps.
