I have a '67 730 rowcrop with an adjustable wide front axle. Somebody put old pickup tires on the front and I need to replace them as they are shot. The size on the tire is all rubbed off and would be in car tire specs anyway. What size tires would have been on the front of this tractor as original equipment if the back tires are 16.9 x 34 Goodyears?

My two 830's and my dad's 400 all have 7.5 x 16's.
About 4 years ago I payed around $70.00 each for 8 ply 7.5x 16's Firestones for my 830 that has a loader on it. Six ply tires were a few bucks less.

Mine has 7.5 X 15 SL 3 ribs. If they are 15" rims that are about 8" wide you could go up to 9.5's. If you have a loader on it the 9.5's would be a +.

I checked again with a light. I found tire size 225/75R16. By that I'll presume I have a 16" wheel? I also found a 730/830 brochure from 1967 and the only tire option listed for 16" wheels are 6.00-16 for dual front wheels, 7.50-16 for a single front wheel and 11.00x16 for heavy duty adjustable front axles. Anybody have the 11.00x16 fronts matched up with 16.9x34 rears as original equipment? If so does it look ok? It sounds like a pretty wide tire. Maybe matched better for the 18.4-34 option ? The only other option listed is an 11.00x15 if my rim size is wrong.
