Did a 730 ever come with 14.9 x 38 tires? Everything I have read about tractor specs says that they had 30 inch tires on the rear. I am dealing on a 730 and the owner says it has 38s on the rear. Is this right?
Thanks.

My 1960 730 has 15.5" x 38" rears, and my 1963 830 has 18.4" x 34" rears. Both are adjustable tread (general purpose) models.

Rick,

The standard (wheatland) were 30 and 34inch.

Most of the row crop were 38 and some 34 's.

owners manual for my 730 says 13.6 standard &

15.5 X 38 optional , mine came new with 15.5's.

In this area I have never seen a row crop that

didn't have 38's.

george

We had the 730 Comfort King and it came with 16.9 X 34. Not sure what was standard but this is what came on the dealer inventory when we got ours.

John, What size tires do you have on the front of this 730 with the 16.9x34 rears?
