I know that production of the Case 830 Comfort king started in 1964. After 1964 could you buy an 830 that was not a comfort king? Also when was the Case O matic transmition discontinued? Thanks!

I'm not sure how long Case-O-Matic lasted in the 30 series production, but I have seen some 730 and 830 Comfort King tractors with Case-O Matic drive.

I have the book that shows them towing aircraft. It's strange that they sold c-o-m's to the military in the 1970's but not to farmers.

All were comfort kings as far as I know, and the 830's ended at the end of the 1969 year. The 570's had them and ended in about 1972.

We had an 830 that was a general purpose with diesel, dual range and eagle hitch. I believe it was a '63. 830 came out in 1960 and ended in 1969. I think they switched to Comfort King version with standard 3pt in 1965.

Didn't the military and airport tug 570s still have Case-o-matic?
