770 Turbo

Was there ever a 770 turbo from the factory, I have a 770 and there is a flat mount on the manifold that looks like its a turbo mount, was thinking about trying to put one on. Thanks for any help.

There were a few 870's with the 336 that came from the factory with a turbo, but I do not think any of the 770's came from the factory with the turbo. DK

I have to look, but I think the manifold on the 6 cyl. is 2 part, one being 4 port and the other 2 port. The 4 port is used with a plug in it for the 4 cyl. and it has the turbo mount cast into it. This just hit me while I was reading your post. I'm still thinking about putting a small turbo on it. Thanks.

1070 and smaller were not turbo'd from the factory. 1170 and larger were turbo'd.
