Hi, I have bought an old tractor I can't identify. The serial # is missing and there are no model numbers to be found. It has a COM and 2 range in front of a 4 speed transmission, and 14.9 x 28 rear tires. Here are some pictures, any idea what model it is? Thanks.

It is a 1958 or 59 Case 411B. You can search Tractor Photos to verify...

I think its be the last year Case produce the 411B because the Radiator cap was above the hood. And if the front wheel were like the large tractor(as 730) it would be an 611B quite sure it a 411B That my input John

You have a "411B". They usually used the 28" rear wheels and the "350";"500"; & "600" series usually used the 36" rear wheels. The smaller series used the 148" wet sleeve engine and the larger series used the 164" engine. An easy way to tell what engine you have is to look behind the carburetor....the larger series engines had a metal plate screwed to the eng. block the whole length of it and about 5-6" in height. The smaller series engines have no plate. There are other differances...ie.....capacities.If you need an operators manual check with your Case dealer for a good reprint or check on e-bay....they surface there often.

I would guess a 600B (or more precisely a 611B as it is a gasoline model) It could be anearly 530 as there were very few differences between the 2.

thanks, I'll look into those models. I ordered the Illustrated Buyers Guide, but it's not here yet and I am wanted to get started fixing her up. Everyone around here used to have an old Case but they have all but disappeared. Me and my brother have recently bought this one then a couple more (911b's) . I want to restore the little one and just play around the yard with it, and we are going to try and pull some old d-60 disk plows with the 911's. I noticed there seem to be less parts sources for the Cases, am I missing some place? I would like to find a nice instrument cluster and a few other pieces.

If you are looking for a good gauge cluster get ready to shell out some $$$.$$. IF!!! you can find one don"t be surprized if it"s 500.00 or more. Contact Roger Hornbaker [email protected]. For parts contact Thad on this message board or check out his website ruschamachinery.com
