Case 730 and 830 Operators Manual

Howdy all,

I just got an operator's manual for the Case 730/830 Wheel Tractors in the mail today. I won it on Ebay, and it's in super good condition.

Problem is, it's for the gasoline and LP gas powered tractors, and doesn't cover nary a thing about the diesel engine that is in the 830 our road fund bought a couple months ago. I am learning a few things I did not know by thumbing through it..for instance I found our tractor has the "power shift" wheels, etc.

I really need an operator's manual for a diesel, however.

Anyone have one they might want to swap?

Howdy Tom, You are most kind to offer to trade manuals.

The one I have is a white covered reprint for the gas and propane tractors, but it isn't brand new..it has a couple of smudges on the cover. Not bad, very light. Are you sure you still want to trade? I see it has what looks like a part number sticker on the cover, CA-0-730,830G

I'll bet the "G" stands for "gas", but I couldn't see that on the photo the seller put on Ebay.

I will send you my phone number, but you can send me yours if you want, then I will call you and the phone call will be on my dime. Only fair since I'm the one who wants to trade.

what model do you have? do you get on it from the rear this has eagle hitch or does it have steps in front of the rear tires this is what I call a comfortkings these had a standard type 3-point hitch if it doesn't have rear hitch does trans hi-lo shift on the dash or on one stick or two depening on year these are at your feet level the books I would have to trade I get from Case but are the newer ones they have white covers

Cary has a pre CK tractor it has a cobbled together standard 3pt, but it originally had an eagle hitch. He had sent me pictures concerning an earlier post. I am guesing this tractor is a 1963 WF row crop model.
