I have Posted a few times before. I have not been able to get "Down and Dirty" with my SC yet... I am still trying to find parts(reasonable). Are there other Makes / Models that will interchange with my 50 SC? IE: engine parts, etc.

You may want to check the serial number on your engine block, but if it was made before Serial Number 8027114 new replacement sleeves, pistons, and rings are available from a number of sources. The serial number should be stamped on the outside edge of the block flange where it bolts to the bell housing (left side, I think). Used sleeves are usually badly rust pitted on the exterior which makes it difficult to get the "O"-ring to seal.

number 2 and 3 piston sleeves destroyed... probably also the the rings.... have yet to be able to get them out.

Most all S series engine parts will interchange. Some combines had the S series engine in them, Then there are SE power units. What parts you looking for?
