This clearly falls under the "cabin fever" heading, and I expect the archives are full of such threads, but what is your favorite 1939-1970 CASE tractor? I'm heading over to Michigan to pick up my little VAC 14 in a couple months. I have a couple pictures of it on my office wall. Right now it's my favorite of my 3 flambeau tractors, but I expect I'll go back to the '53 foot clutch DC as my favorite after a while. A 730 diesel Comfort King sure would be sweet!

What's your favorite?

Glenn F.

I have a 1930 C, 1936 CC, 1947 S, 1961 830, and one other color... They all work great for something but I like the little 36 CC the best. Enjoy leaning on a fender plowing with it the most...

The one out in the yard.

A VAI skiploader.

Loader with fall out bucket and hydraulic scraper in the rear.

May or may not be Profit loader but looks like it.

My favorite would be the 500 six cyl diesel I had. Took forty acres to turn around but sure was fun to drive. Had 20" rice tires on it. The only thing that would stop it would be trying to plow old hay feilds. The ground was hard enough that the deep lugs would bend over and it would just stand there and spin. Wish I never would have sold it. We called it the beast. Next in line would be the 930. Never should have sold that either.

I wish I knew totals. I've only seen a few. Mostly 1942's and 1943's. I've only seen them on LAI's that have mechcanical rear brakes. Pre 1948, so the build cards don't exist to get the totals. If you don't mind, I would like any pictures you could send to add to my collection. I have a couple of pictures if you would like.

I bounce around alot as far as trying to figure out which Case Tractor is my favorite. It usually has to do with the latest image that I've seen of a nicely restored one that has embedded itself into my mind. Right now the image is an early VAC with adjustable wide front.

Hi Guys ,, Cabin fever material for sure ,, My overall favorite is the 430 , versatilaty ,reliabnility ,toughness ,, Any DC takes me down memory lane ,when ever I am Running mine in the feild , I always say a prayer for all my Great uncles who loved them for the same reasons I like the 430 , Same holds true for the spirited VAC ,,The Classic Lady of all has to be the 800 diesel, such a cheap date as far as fuel consumption and wear and tear , The Power horse ,around here ,and I wish I never sold it ,is the 930 Comfort King diesel ,Boy that beast had Angry Horsepower , and it was terribly worn out ,But it still had the power ,used 1/2 gal oil to 5 gallon of fuel .. my 2 cents ,Thanx for reading ,Jim

Wow, that's a difficult question. We run 5 that fit that time frame. But I vote for the 800 Diesel COM. She's the most reliable and lowest fuel cost on our farm. But I surely love the versatility of the Tough 580CK Backhoe/Loader.

Hello Friends My favorite was a "59 700 (711B)bought used from John Nichols the Case dealer in Clifton Hill Mo in 1962. He had repainted it and mixed varnish of some sort in the paint and it was so shiney it looked wet. And it handled and ran as good as it looked!

Hi folks. My favorite CASE is a 300b. Dad bought it around 1967. It is a 311b with wide front, 3 point, a single two way remote, triple range, hand clutch for pto work, and power adjust wheels. Power steering would be nice, but I have a 210b for the loader work so that would be to much luxury.
