I started my db 1212 the other morning, the temperature was in the upper teens, and didnt have any hydraulics. no lift, no loader. i couldnt hear any noise, and the pump was turning. i hadnt had any trouble with hydraulics befor and this tractor is well maintained. any idea where to start looking? i dont have a shop manual.

being it was high teens its prob not frozen,on my 990 there is a bleeder screw, sitting on the seat on your left hand side beside hyd valves where your arms go up and down, lossen screw and hold hyd lever for your remotes one way or the other until presure is obtained oil will come out pretty good ,it problaly just lost its prime, if your arms are in the down pos and you can lift them up manualy and they just fall back down there is just air in the system try that.

I have had the same problem with my 990. I threw a tarp over the tractor and put a heater under it and warmed it up good. Then the hydralics worked fine. I put a new filter in the system and haven't had a problem since.

My 1210 was a little slow jerky but it worked fine in December, 40 to60 degrees now temp's well below freezing. Well took out the hydraulic filter it was frozen it had ice in it,I guess from moisture due to the cold. Try that first if it worked before has to be simple. Mine work's even better! Hope this helps, Steve
