Wondering if fenders, hood, interchange from what I"m guessing is a 1941 or 1942 "LA" to a 1949 "LA",I have both tractors and the older is going to be a "parts" tractor.I thought they might not.Let me know your thoughts

Ande, if you can't use the hood and gas tank from your 1949 LA, would you be interested in selling? I have a 1948 LP gas that I want to convert to regular gas.

Thanks

Dan

Hello Dan,well, its the 49 I"m trying to restore,so if I get another hood I would,my tank is fine,it is the 41 that is the parts tractor.

The hoods should be the same if the 1941 did not have chrome strips on the sides. The only change on hoods was deletion of the chrome strips at or arounnd January 1942.
The fenders and platform were changed at 5208465.

Thanks Tom for the comeback, yes the older "LA" has chrome on the hood.So as far as the fenders it looks like they are different,as my "LA"is #5331832.
