dc tom i was wondering when they swithed the heads over from the 5576 to the 5505 i know of a 47 with a 5505 head but id bet money that one isnt original i owned a 48 with a 5576 i currently own a 49 with a 5576 my friend has a 50 with a 5576 i know the 48 49 and 50 are all gas tractors why do they have all fuel heads on them. if they were both shaved as far as they could safely go wich one would you prefer?

JOHNDEEREMAN, I THINK THE 5505 HEAD WAS AVALIABLE FOR SEVERAL YEARS, THE 5576 WAS AN ALL FUEL HEAD AND A LOT OF THEM WERE USED ESPECIALLY IN THE SOUTH I HAD A 52 DCS CAME FROM FLORDIA AND IT HAS A 5576 TOM
