What is the stock weight of a DC with a single wheel/tire tricycle front end. This one also has rear wheel weights. Tks, Ron in Calif.

Ron, I also checked my later operators manual put out by Case/IH and it shows a single front to weigh 4922 and 4993 and the dual front to be 5180 and 5251 depending on the rear tire size. I would suspect the big difference in weight may be with the Eagle hitch and dual, live hydraulics on the later one. It is interesting that my old manual DOES mention Eagle hitch on page 12.

Ron, My operators manual shows a single wheel front with 11 X 38 rears to weigh 4200 and with 12 X 38 weighs 4250. A dual front with 11 X 38 weighs in at 4600 and with 12 X 38 at 4650. The rear wheel weights are listed at 150 lbs. each. Hope this answers tour question.

Today's Featured Article - Uncle Cecil's Super A Lives Again - by Mike Purcell. Uncle Cecil was the second owner of this wonderful little tractor, but it was almost as though he had adopted an infant. The original owner was a man from Minnesota who bought her from a local dea ... [Read Article]
