The old Case Power and Equipment store in Decorah Iowa is now known as Windridge Implements. We sold thousands of case tractors and we still like working on them. We sell a full line of parts and have knowledgeable people that have been here for over 30 years. Check us out at; www.windridgeimplements.com

I just checked the Kansas edition of Fastline and came up with 3 that I recall as having been Case dealers before 1985. There is one named Roth Equipment in Larned KS but they sold out to Straub International although they still use the Roth name. The last I knew they still had an eagle mounted above the entrance to the shop.
Another is Garden City Farm Equipment in Garden City KS. A third one is Rother Brothers in Fairview and Kingfisher OK.

F.W. Zaloudek in Kremlin, OK. At one time they advertised that they were the largest Case dealer in the world.

Coleman Equipment in Bonner Springs, KS. The grandson of the founder is a friend and all three generations still work there. Grandad is collecting and restoring as many old Case and MM tractors he can find that he originally sold. It is now a Case construction and Kubota dealer.

Still a few in WI: Service motor Company started in Dale, WI about 1916, now has 6 locations in central and NE WI, Triebold Implement, Whitewater, Link Implement, Ridgeland since 1947 (now sells more McCormick than Case) LaPean just lost their contract a year ago in Menominee (1956), Pulaski Chase COOP gave up machinery about 3 years ago (still sell parts)1934. Washinton Implement, Monticello since 1956, a small dealer who has a loyal clientle that Case is just dying to get rid of. Cairns Equipment, Richland Center since 1947. Beaver Machine Company in Coleman since 1952. Might be one or two more. I believe there is only one in Iowa, Griebel Implement in Ottumwa. Started in about 1963 and took over the IH franchise in 1983 so the merger was no problem. Also, the Case Power and Equipment store in Decorah is still going but privately owned.

I think the Iowa dealer in Ottumwa you refer to is Greiner Implement. They are also a construction dealer as well.

Marks Machinery in Yankton SD. Groseth IH lost the IH franchise to Marks Machinery, the Case Dealer.

Groseth IH then sued Case-IH and won a sizable settlement in court, then bought the Chevrolet dealership.

My local Case-IH dealer is located in the same building that was originally the Case dealership. But now it gets confusing--The Case-IH dealer used to be the Ford farm equipment dealer at a different location. When Case and IH merged, (or whatever happened), the IH dealer lost, so he became the new John Deere dealer. In the mean time, the Ford dealer lost his franchise to the local Massey ferguson dealer, who had the Ford franchise several years prior to that, and now, since Ford no longer exists but was taken over by New Holland, that dealer lost the Massey franchise. So now, we have both a Case-IH dealer, and a New Holland dealer, and since both of those lines are now under the same parent company, CNH global, it is going to be very interesting to see which one is left standing. Confused?? Me too.
