Will loader from 400 series fit an 800 series?

Howdy all, since I don't have anything to compare to, or enough knowledge to know: Will a loader that came off a 400 series tractor bolt onto an 800 series? Looking at photos, it doesn't appear so.

From gathering info on the internet and from Case/IH, a Case model 70 loader fits the 830..does a model 70 fit the 400 series as well? (It appears that the loader is a model 70, or the equivelent vintage for the 400 series tractor, since it shows only one hydraulic cylinder on the bucket in the photos.)

The fellow selling it doesn't know the model number..and it's 700 miles from my house.

Thanks in advance for any info.

I've got a 295 on a 400, it should be a bolt on to a 7 or 830

70 series loader fits 770---1175, also 930-1030 D-O-M tractors. will also fit 730, 830 COMFORT KING D-O-M tractors. not sure on older models. you would need 2 sets of remote outlets. years ago when i was at CP&E i put one on a 730 narrow front. looked like sh#t! loader was to big for tractor.

After a little more research... in reply to Cary Nickel, 01-17-2007 08:26:49
From looking at a blurry cover photo of a Case 295 Manual on the internet, it does appear that the loader for sale is a 295.

I guess my only question would be: Is the 295 a straightforward bolt-on for the whole Case series of tractors it fits? Or did it require different size/configuration brackets for different model/size tractors?

It very well could be. I thought I had read somewhere that the 295 had dual hydraulic cylinders on the bucket....but I could be wrong. I've never laid eyes on any Case loaders in person, and info on Case brand loaders is sparse on the internet.

This one does say "Case" across the front of the upper cross beam in the photos, so it is a Case loader.

I saw a photo of what was purported to be a model 70 loader on an auction website, and it had a big "nose" that wrapped around the front of the tractor. The one for sale doesn't have that. It only has the side beams.

Do you know if the Case loaders required different brackets for an 830 than for a 400 series? Or are they a "bolt-on" for either one?

Reason I am asking is because I have located two loaders on southern Minnesota that are definately from 830's, but they are 1300 miles away...this one, if it fits, is half the distance.. but twice the price.
