My 430LCK has for the last couple years been getting small amounts of coolant in the base of the engine. The oil gets a little milky about ever six months or so. I change the oil when I notice discoloring. I put some liquid stop leak in the rad. this spring. I think it slowed the leak some but its still happening. Looking for advise on whether folks here think this problem is caused by a leaking head gasket or worse a cylinder liner o-ring? I think this motor has wet cylinder liners correct? The tractor has about 900hrs, 1963 DOM, and very well cared for. If it were a head gasket I would tackle the job right away. If its a leaking liner I would delay and try some more stop leak.
Thanks
Roger

Roger, I had the same thing on a VAC. I ran it too much and scored the crank. To test, I pulled the radiator, plugged the hoses after putting in some water and put regulated air psi to the motor. With the pan off I could see exactly where the water was coming from. I had bad o-rings on a sleeve.

Beware that if that stop leak gets into the oil sump it can do a fine job of plugging the oil passages.
