I Just (12/06) picked up my first tractor.
There seems to be plenty of good resources on this site for information.

My tractor is a 1950? case sc S/N 5415693 SC.

pictures available http://home.comcast.net/~911oldschool

It was recently removed from a field. intake and exhaust exposed to rain and rusted out.

Weights on the rears. missing the right side brake actuator.

parts appear to be available (ebay), but is a waiting game. is there parts availability elsewhere?

a lot of questions, I know. But I am wanting to do this RIGHT.

Great tractor project! Surprisingly, the tires look pretty good for being out in the weather. Post some more pics from time to time as the project progresses along. Thanks and good luck.

Hey,911oldschool. Like your project! I hope the boys have a fine time rebuilding it. Take your time and do it right. There are a lot of knowledgeable guys on here who will be glad to give advice,or information. LLamp is good w/SC's. I haven't seen him on in a while. Hope he's ok. Good luck with it!
