straw racks on CASE thrash machine

does anyone know what kind/type of wood is used for the straw racks on the thrash machines by CASE from the late 1940's - early 1950's machines? My father is restoring one and needs to know what kind of wood to use.

John, I didn't know you had new ones!!!! I rebuilt my 1924 22x36 with hard maple.

How 'bout a brand new one?? I have some NOS Case straw racks, might fit a thresher. Would need measurements to know for sure. We have lots of other NOS Case Thresher parts.
