For all you crossmotor people. What is everybody doing for a seal on the bottom of the piston sleeve to keep water in the block? My old ones were shot.

I used the ones from Olson but had to trim them a little to make them fit. Still holding water now.

My neighbor had some made at a hyd. supplier from one of those National kits where it is on a roll, they cut it to length and glue the ends (cut at an angle) together, you can't pull them apart, you would be better off not putting in silicone, think of the work tearing it down when it leaks and it will! If nothing else put the old ones in and soak them with dsl to expand them for a bandaid fix.

Cory, I am in the same boat you are in as they are not round 0-rings. I am trying to reuse the old ones with some good silicone on them. What size engine are you working on? Bobcat
