I've got an 51 DC running awhile back and I was wondering are Eagle hitch's hard to find. And what would be a fair price for one. The dc has the holes in the rear end to install the hitch. Two of my son's just bought a old farm house and they need a way to plow the driveway.I'd give them the tractor to but a back blade on it if it's practical. So far we havn't had no snow to talk about here in central Minnesota , but it's just a mater of time. Anyone have any advice? Thanks Dale

Do you have the live pto and hydarulics? If so, all you really need is the rock shaft, lift arms, the adjusting crank assembly, and a cylinder. I would consider using cat.#1 or #2 after market arms from TSC or some such place. There was a guy trying to sell a unit for $400 on ebay, but you sould buy an entire junk tractor for that.

Ted got to know what is serial number of this Mud Hog?? would it be one from linton or possibly rear housing from colorado???Just got back from western montana from a month in thompson falls. Tom railsback came to dixon and picked up my cc there after he use brutality and unorthodox persuasion to get me to sell my d with 3 point to him. Said he had to replace the propane dc you got!!!! Actually I was happy to sell it to him as I have got to thin out the herd and glad it went to a friend. I am also selling my unrestored high crop dc and the factory mule D as well as the d chassis with turing brakes from factory. Hey have a great christmas. I am going to fort morgan wed picking up cc housing then to brush co to sell propane tanks.

Wilson, that one's out in the field. I can't tell you the serial number, but the parts from all those tractors, even the Colrado and the Indiana tractors are experiencing a second life. Since they get stripped & the serial number is on the dash, I can't say for sure which is which. The engines are Mazda.

It doesn't have live pto. Do you need live hydralics to run an eagle hitch? It has a hydrolic lift for a cultivator.

I would want them live, unless you want to shift into neutral everytime you lift your implement while not moving. You'd probably be better off to find a 52 with a blown engine and do some swapping. Or sell yours and buy a 52-54.
