When I put my big 400 in road gear, after a few minuets of driving, she starts to lose power. Seem when the gov. opens, she lacking gas. She runs better when I full chock. When I idle down, she runs fine.
What is my problem???

Sounds exactly like fuel starvation under load, I think Camboted has it nailed. Be sure to shine a good flashlight around inside the tank with the gas level down low so you can see the bottom - you might be surprised what sort of things are wandering about. Dirt in the jet is possible but I think you'll find the problem elsewhere first.

It could be just a dirty fuel screen, plugged line or dirty tank. When you open her up in road gear you cause the governor to open the carb for maximum fuel demand, if the flow is not full it will stall out, the choke puts a little more suction on the line, so that could be it or check the other post as a possible cause.

Sounds like your hispeed mixture is lean. There should be a screw on your float bowl with a jam nut, if you back it out it will richen the mixture. Try one turn out and road test
