Hi Everyone

Can onyone tell me if a David Brown 1210 would be able to manage this 5 furrow Case plough. Does anyone have a similar machine. It is reversable (hydraulic). My 1210 is fully balasted front and back with tubes filled with water in rear tyres as well.

Regards

Mitch

I did see the pictures - I have never seen a "Disc" Plow before - would be interesting to see one work.

Gator do you have any pictures of your 1210? They are not too common here.

Gator this a Massey Ferguson 3 furrow version. These ploughs are very common here in Australia, they are especially used in sandy type soils or soils with lots of sticks and or rocks as they are not damaged when they strike submerged objects. They do an excellent job of turning over the soil, can leave the surface rough though. Primary tillage machines.

Cheers

Mitch

I as well pull a 4 bottom 16 with my 1210, in the real heavy clay at times I have to throw in the front assist on it though.

Thanks guys mine is a 2 wheeler. It sounds like 4 furrows is enough. Not sure if you saw the pics, this plough is a 5 furrow disc job.
