I finally found a voltage regulator for my generator and am wondering which wire goes where. The directions tell me to put the "largest wire" to the "A" connector. Well when the generator was rebuilt, both wires are the same diameter. I really don't want to have to take the cover off to track down which wire is the armature wire and which one is the field wire. Is there an easier way to determine which is which?

Thanks.

Lee

Just a guess Lee but lokking at your Grenerator I would say the front one is the Field and the back goes to the brushhes.
