We have a Case 3220 that was low on fuel. We killed the engine before running empty and now it won't start. We have put on a new filter. It will run as long as there is fuel in the bowl but then it dies. The pump is working. The problem appears to be in the line from the filter to the engine. Any idea what I can try next? Thanks. Gotta get the hay into the barn.

Somewhat newer but there is probably a restriction in the line. Take it off and the see if fuel flows freely from tank. Blow thru the line with compressed air and reattach, check fuel flow thru line. If all is well reattach line to filter base, loosen filter and let fuel run out the top and retighten filter. Hopefully this has got fuel to all lines and you don't have to bleed at injector. If the is a manual pump on the engine loosen one injector line and pump if all air is removed it should run.

My friend said he took all the lines off and they are clear. He said no fuel is flowing out of the tank where he disconnected the line. He pushed a wire into the tank to a depth of about 10" and then could go no further. He didn"t press it as he does not know what structures are in the tank and did not want to destroy anything. Is there a pump or a filter inside the tank on this model? How many external filters are there on this model? We have found one.
