Recently purchased a 930. Runs great, needs a little TLC. However, have a few questions. First, can't find a serial #. Second, can't find where to check hyd fluid level. Third, seat is toast, where can I get replacement base and back? Last, instrument panel remains, but nothing else. The shade is gone, all gauges gone, tach & speedo gone. Where can I get some of these items? Am putting on mechanical gauges in the interim, but would really like to restore instrument panel. I am pretty sure this is a 60-62 model based on some pictures I've been looking at. It is a 6-speed, hand cluth, wide front end, rounded fenders, diesel, power steering, 2 hyd. remotes, pto, no 3-pt. Many #'s all over tractor. Assume them to be part #'s. Most start with an "A".
New to this forum. Thanks for help in advance.

Just ran across this on ebay. Looks to be in rebuildable shape. You may want to bid on this one as it fits your 930 and get Roger to refurb it. It looks to be in semi decent condition, much better that the one that was on my 630.

JGarner,

What did you run across on ebay? Cluster? Do you have a item number?
Thanks.

Charles

Boy its h__l to get old. I copied the item number and then didn't paste it in my message, sorry. The ebay item number is:

Item number: 110050164288

There are still only 2 bids on this made on Oct. 30. Looks like it started at about $20 and its only at $23 right now. You may want to put it on you watch list and don't bid until the last minute if the fianl price is within your comfort range. I find most times I bid early it only serves to drive the price up. I always have had good luck bidding at the last minute.

This unit looks like a good candidate for refurbishing, but guess it could be used as is if the gauges work though.

Contact Roger Hornbaker. [email protected]

I bought a cluster for my 630 he had refurbished. The 630 came with either a Stewart Warner cluster or an Autolite cluster. Our 63 830 Case had a Stewart Warner cluster so your 930 probably does too. He works on both kinds. Case no longer sells these or parts for them, so your best bet is Roger or ebay.

Roger does amazing work, you won't be displeased if you get one of his refurbished clusters.

JGarner,

Thanks for the contact on the cluster.

Anyone know how to check the hydraulic fluid level on this tractor?

Thanks again.

Charles

I have a 62 930 6 speed and there are two refill plugs on the left side of the tractor (left sitting on the tractor) just below the seat and one two the side. I fill from the top one with universal hyraulic/trans fluid and the top plug is just below the seat...and i leave about an inch space from the top. No dip stick on these beasts. one thing if you fill up with the top one don't open the lower plug or y0u will lose fluid.
