I am looking at the parts manual and can not tell if the nut is a flare or a compression nut. I just went through this on my hydraulic line that goes back to the Eagle Hitch. On my Eagle Hitch, it was 37 degree flare nuts which I purchased from McMaster Carr (watch out for Saturday shipping! They bite real hard and don't deliver!!!). I recommend that you look at their web site and get a look at the various types of tube nuts (both flare and compression) to match it up. At any rate the nut will be a standard of one sort or another. Any good hydraulic shop or hardware store could have the correct nut also. If the tube is too short to cut and place a new nut on, then you will also need to replace the tube and the nut at the other end. Full replacement is what I went for since this is the high pressure link between the control valves and the lift. On the COM colling system, the pressure may not be quite so high, and therefore they may have used 45 degree flared fittings or compression fittings. For the same situation on old automatic transmission cooling connections to the radiator of a car I remember 45 degree flares were common. When you install the new fitting, be sure the surface of the mating fitting is clean and that the tubing goes in very straight! There is lots of information on the web that is put out by home aircraft builders and race car mechanics pertaining to the subject of hydraulic line fittings if you want to make it a research project.
Hope this helps
Dave
