Well winter is coming and I"m really hoping to get the LA put together this winter. I have spent the last year and a half rounding up needed parts via e-bay trading for a parts tractor etc. Now it seems I have about everything I need to put her back together. Was talking to the parts man at the local case dealer and it seems as though a rebuild engine gasket set is no longer available for an LA. He was able to find me one in stock in a dealer somewhere but it was $525 bucks! Wow! (the head gasket set is still available.) Was just wondering if anybody else makes a set for this tractor at a more reasonable price? Also if not if I try and order each gasket individually do you think I would have any luck? If nothing is available I can make some of them my self but at the least it would be nice to buy some of the cork gaskets. Thanks for the help.

I can't help you with the gaskets however I'm looking for an LA gas tank along with its mounting brackets, etc along with a carburator. Would you perchance end up with extra and be willing to part with them?

Well Jery funny that you ask I am also looking for a gas tank. My parts tractor has one but it is the two compartment tank. I am looking for the single compartment tank. As for the carb I do have an extra but am not sure which one I would want to keep yet as I have not rebuilt my origional yet. Then too my uncle told me a while back that he would maybe like to have my parts tractor once I'm done with it. So I guess my question to you is how soon would you need this stuff? Because I could talk to him and see if he still wants the tractor. let me know what you think

I'm in no big hurry, the 2 compartment tank would work if it became avaiable!

I sell them for $400.00. I bought in at the old price and have a couple sets left.
