Good Evening, I have a Case 995 David Brown that has went through 3 throw out bearings in the last year. Each bearing lasts around 15-20 hours of service. I believe that the spacing is correct as it can easily be seen from below. I have put the bearings in the tractor in my own shop. The first time I replaced the bearing I also put in a new dual stage pressure plate and pilot bearing along with two new clutches. All parts have been purchased through the local CASEIH dealer. I thought the first bearing just wore out. I thought the second was adjusted to tight, however the third was perfect all around and ended in the same result in approximately the same timeframe. All have functioned perfectly. I am lost. Can anyone give me any additional guidance before I go crazy. For anyone that is interested, it does have a Case loader and just over 4000 hours. It has a new injection pump and fair rubber. Overall it is a fairly straight tractor. It would be for sale, as it has increased my frustration level. It is located in Southern Illinois. Also any ideas on what it is worth. However, it is so good on fuel I hate to get rid of it. So I would like to find out how to fix it first.

Thanks
Shaun Murray

Some additional information is that it does have the lever for the PTO clutch. Which I believe makes it a straight 995. It is also 2wd.

thanks shaun
