I AM LOOKING FOR THERMOSTAT FOR 1958 311B GAS. THE OLD ONE IS 1.9 �DIAMETER AND HAS 150 DEGREES TEMP. RATING. TRIED NAPA NO LUCK ANYBODY HAVE THE PARTS NO. AND WHERE CAN I GET IT?

The thermostat is still available from your CaseIH dealer. I suspect that the part number is substituted, but I know that I was able to get one about a year ago without a problem. It fit perfectly. Note that you'll need to check to make sure that there is a small hole in the valve to bleed out the air.

I haven't seen any bellows type or 150� t-stats for years. The Case original t-stat for 311b is p/n G10325, probably no longer available.

Have a 311B, 310, & a VAC with Napa p/n THM70 amot type installed in all them. You have to specify 160� as that same p/n is optional in 170� & 180�. You have to cut or grind down the flange to fit into the hose, may have drill a bleeder hole also, can't recall.
