I just replaced the coolant sending unit on my 630. Now when the engine comes up to operating temperature the gauge will go from nothing and then pegs out on the hot side. I have been running the tractor for over two years with a broken sending unit, so if it was running hot I would have locked the engine up by now. Bad sending unit or bad gauge?

may have an air bubble try running with radiator cap off to let any trapped air out
