Do any of you fellows know if the power steering gearbox from a 730/830 will interchange with that of a 930 8 speed or 1030? I am not referring to the pump, but the unit that bolts into the front casting. Thanks

Are you sure the unit in the housing in front (steering unit) is bad? I had one that I thought was bad on my 930 and it was the steering knuckle that sits under the radaitor hose. When I got it out you could not turn it one way at all, and just barly turn it the other way. I changed one in my 800 one time and that NO FUN.

I realized after reading the first reply, that I forgot to specify I am questioning the steering for a general purpose 730/830, and not the western style (fixed tread) 730/830. Thanks again.

I would say no do to the 8 speed 930 had a real power steering which went up to the front of tracter where 730 /830 had it on the side
6 speed 930 would inner change
