I have purchased what I belive to be a 1936 rc case s#RC317990. I am in the process of restoring this tractor I know prire to me bying this tractor it had been sitting in a barn for 35 years there is not alot of paint on this tractor but what is there looks origenal to me aneyway what I am getting at is I know the tractor should be light gray but the under side of the hood on this tractor is a dark green also the top of the radiator that would be under the hood. I know the rims should be red but the seat on this was also red? the pto gard shows the flambeau red. maby it was added later? I wanted to get some input before I stert painting

here is a link to Rod(NH)'s website that has the ppg paint codes. I don't know which color you need but I do see a case grey listed. Rod also has a dupont list.

no red seat or belt pulley, I used Ford Naa grey from NH on my 36 and got complimented on what a close match it was

I have a model L case that has a dark green coat of paint as the base coat. Any one know anything about this? Every thing else indicates the top coat was gray. Good places to look for paint are between sheet metal parts or any place that has a thick coating of grease and dirt. Phil
