My nephew has a VAC with a loader on it. He took it off and runs to use the hydraulics for a mower on it. Anyone have a VAC or know about VAC hydraulics to explain how to connect the hydraulics for the rear end. I think he will use it just to lift the mower bar.

As far as I know the loader is fine. I do not know if my nephew wants to sell it or not. He is in central Nebraska.

The VAC came with two hydraulic configurations. The older had the pump driven off the pulley shaft and the later models, with Eagle Hitch, had the pump driven from camshaft gear on the front of the engine. It would help to know which type you have and how much of the original equipment is still there.

Sam, Just talked with my nephew. It has the pump in front off the camshaft gear. The hydraulics had been reconfigured for the loader, which he has taken off. He needs to know where the oil resevoir is located and how to connected the hoses to operate the Eagle Hitch. No doubt I could tell you more if I were looking at the tractor. He has it now at the local Case-IH dealer and they are trying to figure things out. The tractor is probably older than any of the mechanics there. Thanks

Sam, Thanks, The tractor is 40 miles away and is my nephews so I have not paid a lot of attention to it. However, since it has an Eagle Hitch, it must have the pump driven from the camshaft gear on the front of the engine. I have tried to call my nephew but probably will not get ahold of him until later in the day. Thanks
Larry H.
