That is one sharp rig! I would like to do the same with a Studebaker or Diamond T hauler as there were quite a few Case dealers who handled those lines as well. Don

Don;
I have a 1947 Studebaker M16 in western Ohio that could be available for a hauling rig. It is a 1 1/2 ton with a 12 foot flatbed, perfect size for hauling tractors... Gene

Gene,Sounds pretty much what I am looking for. I don't care for the "modern" styling of the newer design that came out about 1950. I want to put the "Eagle Hitch Farming" decal on the doors. Could you send me an e-mail with the truck's details? Thanks, Don

Hello John,

The White has a 386 ci flathead 6 cylinder gas engine. We took the engine completely apart and had it rebuilt. I guess my check book will recover one of these days!!

5 speed transmission (4th direct 5th overdrive). I think it is orginal with the 12 volt electrical system and air brakes.

It has an 18' bed with a winch (also orginal). The wood floor is about 3" thick! The truck weights 13,000 pounds without the C on! I put the 11x22.5 tires and rims on it.

Hey Dave: Thanks. I bet 5th is up toward the dash? Is that a radio speaker in front of the steering wheel? We have a '43 White Military 10 wheeler, & a '54 Dodge. Both heavy trucks with air brakes we use on the farm here. Love all them old trucks.

John,

Yep, 5th is up toward the dash.

What looks like a speaker in front of the steering column is the heater vent. The hump outside on the cowl is an air intake for the cab and the air goes thru the heater coil.
