1170 brake disc

Neighbor has 1170 an brakes only work if you pump them couple times imediatley before using them. If not used for couple minutes you need to pump them again. Happens to both brakes. Any ideas?

Bled them early in season (down at disc)

Might just need a simple adjustment. Adjusters may be froze & not working.
