Case 800 - Only with Case-O-Matic?

Did the 800 (late 50's) ever come with a different transmission than the Case-O-Matic? Just curious to know what the difference between a 700 and 800 were. Also, would a diesel engine from an 800 fit into a 730 Comfort King?

Thanks for any help!

I am not sure about 800's, but 830's came both ways. We have a 830 dual range, I think it is about a '61

Hi. 800 was C-O-M only. 700 was standard tranny only. The same tractor, only difference was tranny. Case used the model no. to designate which tranny. Even no. was COM, odd no. was Standard tranny. Hope this helps. Charley.

Only real difference between 800 and 700 was the C-O-M and about 300 rpms.
