Looking at a really nice Case 648 with front loader and factory 3 point hitch. Yellow Industrial version with power steering. My question did these have or could you add a rear PTO?? Or belly mower?? And what might the value be. Very nice tractor. Thanks

Yes it is possible
to install a belly
mower.I dont know the
cost.but i dont know
about PTO.I'm guessing
yes because it has a 3P HK.If u have a 3
P HK you should because
alot of 3P HKs need
a PTO. Good luck! -Connor

The 648 is a very rugged, reliable small tractor. They are designed from the outset for a small loader tractor and serve this role well. Has a heavy cast iron front axle and heavy built rear frame to support the counter weights for the loader.
They are available with hydraulic PTO or power beyond as Case called it. Belly mowers are available as well as tillers, backhoes, trenchers and many other useful attachments.
Prices are usually pretty high for these and recently one sold on eBay with a tiller, loader and mower. Sold for $4240.00. That seems like an extreme price, with most units selling for about $1500.00 to $2500.00. I bought a 644 2 years ago that needed minor work to get it going. Paid $775.00 for it. It only has a loader and weight box on it. This has been a very handy machine to have around and saves a lot of lifting and will fit in small spaces... Gene
