Does anyone have experience with these tractors?
Are the powershifts anymore "robust" then the old ones like 2090's etc.??

I run an old 2090 and it works fine but we've had it since new and I know that the PS hasn't been abused over the years. Plus more then half it's life it's just baled hay so easy work for the trans. etc. I know the old Case power shifts can cost a pile of money to fix if you start taking out gears, shafts, and planetaries!!!

Looked at a couple of these 2096's and was wondering how they stack up. Would be used for 25% tillage pulling work and the rest hay mowing and baling.

Also did they come with an air ride seat??

We have a 2096 that does plowing & planting among other chores. Power Shift on the 2096 uses electric solenoids that the 2090 didn't. Basically, it's the same RPS 34 Unit. I was told that some units had a Case 6 Speed P/S, but I have never seen one.
The Cummins engine is great. Lots of Torque, & a fuel miser. Have no idea where that 360 cu in gets it's power & torque.
Hyd. Seat.
We've had no trouble with our 2096. Great tractor.
