I need to paint a 1940"s Case DC. The paint listed for this on this website shows Flambeau Red. However, no one I"ve spoken to knows if this is the correct paint color for this tractor. Can someone verify this for me?

Would the starter and gen on a 1950 VAC also be black? I've seen them Flambeau red on some?

If Flambeau Red was the color starting in 1950 or 51, can anyone tell me what color was used on earlier models? Thanks.
