Does anyone know if the continous PTO off a late 530 will work on a early (1974) 580??

If doner 530 already has an independent PTO (not a hand clutch that stops forward motion) the parts should interchange to the 580. The drive for the independent PTO is splined into the flywheel/crankshaft.

When I worked for a Case dealer in the seventies we would install them on the 580 all the time. In fact we would also put them on 580B, I do rememberthat it was only on the mechanical shuttle units.
