WD45 Hydraulic pressure

I just bought a WD45 with a front mounted push blade. It has two lift cylinders controled by a "joystick" valve. The lift moves very slowly up or down. Is this normal? The 3 point lift seems to work normally. Is this a case of adequate pressure, but not enough volume? Thanks doorman.

Any chance of seeing a picture of this setup? I have toyed with the idea of building a front blade to go on my WD, but I've never gotten around to actually doing anything.

I have a set up like that on my C. I built it from pictures Rod sent me but it could also be built to fit a WD pretty easy. I have it set up to lift a 7 foot blade which is really way to much for a C but it was a fun thing to build and I use it off and on all the time to help unload heavy stuff. It will lift around 500lbs

If you are using the tractor"s internal hydraulics, it is like old said. An option you have is to add a reservoir and front mount pump of 15-1800 psi, higher volume- let"s say 18-20 gpm (AC is about 7 gpm). Then you"d have independent hydraulics for whatever use you want, plus retain the AC 3000psi system for its own use.

Most Allis tractors use a high pressure low GPM system so yes they will be slow.
