AGAIN DO NOTTTTT WIRE THE GENNYS ARM POST TO THE AMMETER AS POSTED BUT INSTEAD TO THE CUTOUT RELAY (i.e. do it Just like the diagram shows)

This is simple so dont make it any more complicated, the wiring diagram posted plus my instructions posted below tells you how to wire it and how to convert from Pos to Neg ground

1) Change battery to Neg ground DUH

2) If its a coil ignition swap coils leads i.e. for Neg ground + gets voltage from ignition switch, - wires to distributor.

3) The ammeter leads need swapped or it will read bass ackwards.

4) BEFORE you start iT you MUST POLARIZE THE GENERATOR.

5) The starter will still turn the same direction regardlss of its polarity.

See my post above for what had to be done if its converted from Pos to Neg ground. Turn the lights or igntion on when shes not runnning and if the ammeter is wired correct it will swing over to - discharge but if it swings to + charge its leads need swapped.

Often the place the SUPPLY side of the ammeter receives its hot batery voltage is where the big battery cable attaches to the starter switch. The ammeters other LOAD terminal feeds voltage to lights n ignition plus wires to the BAT terminal on either a Cutout Relay or a Voltage Regulator

The wirings the same as on a pos grnd diagram EXCEPT the coil leads are reversed as I posted above and the ammeter leads need swapped so it dont read backwards.

Polarize the genny if youre changing battery polarity
