I want to plow with a WD that has after market 3 point hitch. What is the best plow to get? Does anything need to be done to keep the tractor from doing a 'wheelie' if it hits a big rock?

In some cases you can pull a 3 bottom plow, but many times a 2 bottom is all a WD can handle. I have always like the way a snap coupler plow pulls, much better than a 3 point plow. But it will also depend a lot on the condition of the plows wear parts. If you find a good condition 3 point plow for the same price as a poor condition snap coupler plow, then that might be the way to go. Good snap coupler plows are usually around $100 to $150 in this area.

I think a 3 bottom medium weight JD, Ford, MF, or Oliver set of plows would work fine on it. We used to pull 3-14" AC snap coupler plows on a WD very successfully. Mr. Bob

I use a 2 bottom plow on my WD all the time, but its an Allis plow that hooks up by way of the normal lift. WDs are pretty front heavy so you should not have any problems with the front end
