Hello,

Has anyone ever put a Tachometer on their B-C-CA Tractor. I note in my Parts manual, that that was an acessory way back when, but dont know how or where they would have mounted and wired it.

I think it would be usefule when attaching my PTO generator to the tractor, or other attachments.

Thanks

DRS

The link describes an add-on tach that gets its signal from a sensor wire wrapped around a spark plug wire. I haven't seen one myself; so, cannot vouch for them.

The first tachometer that I recall seeing was the D- series. It could be added to any B,C, or CA. You would have to change it to a distributor and use the D-12,14,or 15 governor shaft and distritutor housing. Then the tachometer dial and cable could be hooked up.
