Yes, I know- all of them! WC came out about 1933,-34, had the hand brakes until 1948, when the WD came out, with foot brakes. There were some aftermarket foot brake options, but nothing from the factory.

The WC was never offered with foot brakes from the factory. Several companies offered foot brake conversion kits for the WC, including Sudenga and TSC. They do show up occasionally on eBay and farm auctions. Best of luck.

I am pretty certian that all WC's came with hand breaks. Lord only knows why they did it, I can not think of a single advantage to them.

to Paul-MN. Hand brakes were used when hooking to belt to set brakes to hold tension in belt.
