This 1954 WD-45 was restored for the original owner in Ohio for Christmas. Sure looks new. It was in pretty rough condition when they started on it. Hal

Gorgeous!! Thanks for sharing. I wanted a WD45, but couldn't find one, so I settled for a Super M.

This man has painted all colors from orange to red and to yellow. He always uses Martin Senour
Crossfire paint. Hal

another dupont restoration, and called as a restored tractor.not even orginal, note the alternator and 12 volt was not standard on the 45's

Alternators are more plentiful and cheaper than generators. He used Martin Senour, not Dupont. Hal

What a beauty. I have just completed several minutes of reverent silence just looking and remembering all the hours and hours of daylite and night time operating one just like yours. First was at home on my dads and later on my own farm doing field work when needed and chores other times. Such a versatile Tractor those AC's were. If you could say you loved a tractor I could be comfortable saying "I Loved those little AC Tractors. I can remember the many clear and cold nights plowing with 3-14" Mounted and hunched down in behind the windscreen of the heat houser to get out of the chilly spring wind blowing and can still hear the sounds of that little Engine at full throttle and the Muffler glowing red with just a little fire comeing out of the pipe, more when you hit a hard spot. At 70 years I have trouble with memory but I will never forget [I hope] rememberances such as these.JC

I would like to have seen the owner when he saw this tractor. I bet his eyes swelled with tears. I think mine would've too. At 70 you're still a youngster I'll be 75 in Feb. Will be married 55 years in 2008. Hal

I worked 43 years for the US Government and 2 years were in the Army during the Korean War. Our daughter is in her 50's now. She was born at Ft Bragg NC hospital. Cost $5.25. Have a Happy New Year. It was in the upper 50's here in MD today. Hal

I didn't do the work on the tractor. It was done by a farmer's son in Ohio that is set up to do this restoration. He power washes the tractor then sandblast's the old paint and rust off. Has the supplied air system and building for painting.
I'm sure he uses Martin Senour's Crossfire paint
with hardener. He does such good work tractor dealers in the area have him to paint some of their tractors. Hal
PS: A lot of work went into this tractor.
