Does anyone know the size of the variable speed belt on a b10. looks like it is wider than a B 5/8 belt. Size, part number or place to purchase one would be helpfull.
Thanks in advance,

IF it is the same as the one on a B-210 or a 312, try Simplicity p/n 164080, 54" x 1" wide x 0.5" deep. NAPA can also get them but they"re more expensive than Simplicity ($67 vs $55).

Adjustment of the thing is very important; look on the aforementioned website for the procedure. Clutch pulley belt stop is what keeps the belt from moving when clutch is in; if worn, it will allow the belt to keep slipping along and provide much frustration as you won"t be able to shift well.

good luck, I have had enough with these !$#@%!&^ things and am now looking for a real tractor. Doesn"t help that the rest of the thing is pretty well worn out, and the engine just had something bad happen (rod or rod cap blown; no holes though.)

I have been looking there for a couple hours. I don't know I am sure it is me but I cannot find the item. If I had the part number I could cross it over to a simplicity part I noticed. Cannot find the information on the site just basic information on belts.

did a little looking. hint, x-ref tables to simplicity #, ac 2025069=simplicity 990395 ac 2025070=simplicity 990396 use at parts and manuals, i came up with belt # 164080, belt specs show this as an HI belt 1inch top width by half inch depth 53.1 inch outside measurement. double check me on this as i was in a hurry hope this helps. if i remember right the mfg # and serial #is on decal on rear of tractor below seat leroy
