looking at a D-15 Allis no sure of the year but the asking price is 2000.00 the tin is in pretty good shape, good tires all around -- is this a fair deal and what is the horse power and is there anything I should what out for??

If it doesn't jump out of any gears, motor doesn't smoke, tires decent and overall is sound, 2K is a good buy. I've seen them go for a lot more than that.

If it's a Series 1 D15 with a 149 cu. in. motor- 40.0 pto. hp. If it's a Series 2 D15 with a 160 cu. in. motor-46.2 pto. hp. Mr. Bob

Price is quite reasonable. Check to see if the tractor pops out of any gears either pulling or coasting.

I would want to kick the tires before giving anyone advise but 2 grand would not be a bad price in most cases.
